Decon Unit
The 5 Stage Decontamination Trailer by SMH is designed with a chassis made entirely of galvanized rolled steel, providing strength and long-lasting durability. The floor is constructed from WBP plywood, treated and finished with fiberglass for waterproofing. The trailer features an aerodynamically enhanced front with a fiberglass nosecone that houses all services, optimizing space in the clean end. It includes a gas boiler for water heating, centrally located in the clean end of the unit.
This decontamination trailer is divided into five compartments, with a bench seat and 900mm electric tube heater provided at each end of the unit. The clean end contains eight coat hooks, eight lockers with sockets for charging respirators, and a fixed mirror. Key features include a five-stage decontamination system with two showers, a Honda GSX200 generator with RCD protection, and waste pump-out through sediment filters. The unit also includes a built-in DOP tested negative pressure unit and an in-built water tank.
