Sundstrom SR500 PAPR
The Sundstrom SR500 PAPR is a powered air purifying respirator designed as an alternative to negative-pressure filter respirators. It is particularly beneficial for extended work periods in warm conditions due to its fan-assisted air flow. The device can be used with Sundström hoods, face shields, or full face masks, providing flexibility for various protective needs.
The SR500 features two adjustable speeds of 175 and 240 litres per minute and is powered by a lithium-ion battery available in Standard or Heavy Duty options. The battery recharge time is approximately 1.5 hours for the Standard and 2 hours for the Heavy Duty, with an operating time of up to 13 hours. It includes a single control for on, off, and operating status, as well as automatic air flow control, and comes supplied with two filters or filter combinations.
