Sundstrom SR500 Powered Respirator

The Sundstrom SR500 Powered Respirator is a battery-powered fan unit designed as an alternative to negative-pressure filter respirators. It is particularly beneficial in situations where extended periods of work in warm conditions are required, thanks to its fan-assisted air flow. The respirator is part of the Sundström fan-assisted respiratory protective device systems, conforming to EN 12941 or EN 12942 standards, and is suitable for use in various work environments where respiratory protection is necessary.

The SR500 features an operating time of up to 13 hours and uses a lithium-ion battery that supports at least 500 charging cycles. It includes automatic air flow control and can be used with a variety of head tops, such as hoods, visors, and masks, depending on the protection needs. The unit is equipped with a warning system that alerts the user through sound, light, and vibration signals in case of air flow obstruction or low battery capacity.
