Bristle Blaster Pneumatic
The Pneumatic Bristle Blaster by MontiPower is an ATEX-approved tool designed to remove corrosion and generate an anchor profile using a specially designed rotary bristle tool. This technology allows the bristle tips to strike the corroded surface with kinetic energy comparable to traditional grit blasting processes, effectively removing corrosion and creating micro-indentations that expose a fresh surface. The tool is capable of achieving surface preparation grades comparable with Sa 2½–3 and roughness levels of up to 120 µm Rz, making it suitable for various applications including weld seams and surface irregularities.
The Bristle Blaster Pneumatic is equipped with Bristle Blaster Belts that clean and profile surfaces without removing healthy material, restoring corroded and pitted surfaces to a near-white or white metal appearance without the need for grinding or polishing. It generates compressive residual stress, which enhances crack growth resistance and improves the lifespan and corrosion resistance of the treated surfaces. The tool operates with air pressure regulators to ensure optimal performance and is designed for use exclusively with Monti’s Bristle Blaster drive units.
