Co2 Removal System
The MST Portable Carbon Monoxide Removal System is part of the Respiratory Protector Series, designed to purify compressed air lines by removing contaminants such as water, oil, dirt, rust, scale, gaseous hydrocarbons, and carbon monoxide. This system ensures maximum breathing safety by providing clean air to face masks, helmets, hoods, and other supplied air breathing apparatuses.
The system operates with a four-stage purification process, including a prefilter for particulate matter, a coalescing filter for liquid contaminants, an activated charcoal bed for gaseous hydrocarbons, and a catalyst for converting carbon monoxide into carbon dioxide. It is equipped with a carbon monoxide monitor that continuously checks air quality and alerts users if carbon monoxide levels exceed safety standards. The system is designed for use with a maximum inlet pressure of 150 PSIG and a rated air flow of 50 SCFM.
