GMA SpeedBlast
GMA SpeedBlast™ is a fast cleaning, general purpose abrasive for a wide range of less challenging industrial blasting work. It removes light to medium coatings and rust quickly, and its hardness, durability and low consumption rate lift productivity while producing a uniform 50 - 75 μm surface finish.
Blasting rates reach up to 25 m²/hr with consumption as low as 10 kg/m². Typical applications include general industrial maintenance, light rust and low to medium mil coatings, powder coating removal and preparation, wet abrasive blasting at maintenance grade, and construction and maintenance on tanks, pipes, pressure vessels and offshore platform decking.
Major industries include oil and gas (terminals, offshore production and petroleum refining), energy generation and transmission, construction and infrastructure, pipelines, shipyard maintenance and repair, water and wastewater treatment, and metal fabrication.
