Schmidt TeraValve
The Schmidt TeraValve is designed for high-performance abrasive metering with an extended service life. It features XL technology, which utilises durable metal alloys and internal wipers to reduce wear from dust migration, making it suitable for use with aggressive media like aluminum oxide or steel grit. The valve is compatible with both dry blasting and wet MistBlasting applications.
The TeraValve is easy to install, requiring no special modifications to replace older pressure-hold valves such as the Thompson. It can also be used on pressure-release pots with limited clearance, provided there is at least 6 inches of space from the bottom of the pot. The valve's pressure-hold design helps maintain pressure in the pot, potentially saving up to 15% of abrasive during start-stop blasting operations and reducing compressed air consumption.
